This is my first post and actually my first attempt at anything like this. I don’t know much about this or how it works so over time I hope it gets better. I welcome any comments or suggestions to make this a much better site.
It is my desire to create a forum for women like me, or anyone that needs a boost in their walk with Christ. Since I’m new to this, I don’t want to go into detail just yet about what you can expect from this site, but I do want to share a few general ideas.
- First, I hope to have some kind of daily devotional. This will consist of scripture primarily, sometimes I will comment on the scripture and other times I’ll invite you to comment on it.
- Second, I want to be able to connect with women that believe conservatively in the biblical principle of wifely submission to their husbands as the God ordained headship (Eph 5).
- Third, I want this to be a place of creativity, whether in writing, goods, design or just anything creative as long as there is no malicious intent.
As time goes on, I’m sure that there will be changes, so please check back often.
The one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” Isaiah 43:1-3
God is alwaysw with you. May He bless you in whatever you’re going through and may you be lifted up and in God’s favor.
This is so awesome! This is exactly what you need and you can minister to other women. I believe this is of God and He will give you the words. Can I share this site on my xanga site?
See you in a little while!
Norma

“the One who came still comes and the One who spoke still speaks”
He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love.
Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV)
Suppose you dwell in a high-rise apartment. On the window sill of your room is a solitary daisy. This morning you picked the daisy and pinned it on your lapel.
But as soon as you’re out the door, people start picking petals off your daisy. Someone snags your subway seat. Petal picked. You’re blamed for the bad report of a coworker….More petals. By the end of the day, you’re down to one….You’re only one petal-snatching away from a blowup.
What if the scenario was altered slightly? Let’s add one character. The kind man in the apartment next door runs a flower shop. Every night on the way home he stops at your place with a fresh bouquet. Because of him, your apartment has a sweet fragrance, and your step has a happy bounce. Let someone mess with your flower, and you’ve got a basketful to replace it!
God hand-delivers a bouquet to your door every day. Open it! Take them! Then, when rejections come, you won’t be left short-petaled.
A Love Worth Giving

Thanks for your comment! You are an encouragement to me! May we keep going back to the source of our strength!
We had an awesome F.W. last night. There was around 25. It was an international evening with folks there from Russia, several from Ukraine, Belrussia, Kachistan (sp) Georgia. people we’ve gotten to know through Larissa. They were a Spirit filled bunch whose women wore coverings (scarves) some of who had experienced underground worship during Communist times. Larissa must have told them I had a birthday because they came bearing gifts and cards. I got several big beautiful bouquets of fresh cut flowers, (With the flowers John and Larissa brought me, my dinning room table is covered
I got candy from one of the Soviet countries and a very inspirational card. One brother was a Russian Christian/Jew. Stanley was there, Derryl & Jennifer, Curtis, Doug’s, Kim & Craig, David & Lydia, the Wilsons etc. It was a very stimulating evening. You guys were missed! David, a big Russian bear of a guy with such a gentle spirit but a holy boldness for the Lord, spoke of the blessings of suffering and how we are conformed to His image and matured in the kingdom through the things we go through. It was surely the “best one yet.”
This is the day the Lord hath made. We will REJOICE! :~)
