Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world where everyone is right with God.
And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to live a pure and blameless life. And be at peace with God. 2 Peter 3:11-14
Sorry for the delay in today’s post. We had furnace problems in the middle of the night and it has thrown everything off today. I’ve been fairly busy at work and can’t write much.
Tomorrow, I plan on going to a conference called “Create in me a Pure Heart.” It should be interesting. I’m not sure if I’ll have time to write in the morning or not. I’ll definitely try to write on Sunday morning, but just in case I can’t squeeze it in, I’ll look forward to giving you a recap of my conference on Monday.
Here is the scripture for today, pray and think about it. I don’t have anything to say about it right now.
A good scripture reminding us to “occupy” until He comes again. I’ve missed your posts but looking forward to reading about the conference you attended! Hope you’re keeping warm.
God bless!
